Criminal Law Convention on Corruption and explanatory report (2000)

The convention deals with issues such as jurisdiction, sanctions and measures, the liability of legal persons, the setting up of specialized authorities responsible for law enforcement and control, and protection of witnesses and persons co-operating with the judicial authorities. It includes a general duty of co-operation in the prosecution of corruption offences, in particular regarding extradition, mutual judicial assistance and spontaneous information.
