Youth policy in Romania (2001)

Romania is undergoing a complex transformation period which is of great interest to the study of societies in transition. The relevance of the Romanian case study is also linked with the country's location on the centuries-old frontier between the West and the East. Hence the sociological interest of some of the options facing youth policy development in Romania, such as the choice between facilitation or interventionist policy.
