Difference and cultures in Europe (1998)

The growing importance of cultural difference today has led to the emergence of groups whose codes and composition call in question those of long-established communities, encouraging them to re-define themselves in new ways. This work presents different aspects of this major problem. Analytical studies are accompanied by illustrative texts selected to give the reader an overview of European thinking on this issue.
