Law and foreign policy (Science and Technique of Democracy No. 24) (1999)

In this publication, the Venice Commission wishes to contribute to the debate on the role of law in the framing and implementation of foreign policy by presenting an overview of the legal principles underlying the foreign policy of the participating states, followed by two contributions to the study of the machinery of the European Union's common foreign and security policy (CFSP).
