Model law on sustainable management of coastal zones and European code of conduct for coastal zones (Nature and Environment No. 101) (2000)

Coastal areas have experienced unprecedented dramatic change in the last half of the 20th century, especially in zones adequate for tourism development. The present code of conduct and model law on coastal areas establish some general management principles aimed at the substainable development of coastal areas and the preservation of their environmental values.
