Corruption in public procurement - Proceedings, Tallinn, October 1997 (1998)
Public procurement mobilises very significant financial resources (for example, up to 11 % of the gross domestic product of the EU countries, totalling 720 billion ecus).
The aim of this conference was to share ideas, information and practice with regard to corruption in public procurement. Members of the specialised services were able to gain a great deal of information by sharing their understanding of these phenomena as well as the methods used to prevent and investigate them.
