Security of residence of long-term migrants - A comparative study of law and practice in European countries (1999)

The social integration of immigrants is one of the major issues in many countries in Europe. Security of residence of immigrants constitutes one of the essential conditions for their integration in the host society. This study contains a comparative analysis of law and practice on the subject, and a survey of the relevant legal instruments and of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
