Training strategies for health information systems (1998)

The present report underlines the importance of health information systems and points out the obstacles to their proper use and development. It proposes a training strategy to overcome these obstacles comprising multidisciplinary, in-service training for health professionals as well as for students, the content of the training programmes, the organisation of the training and how to promote European co-operation in this field.
