Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons and explanatory report (No. 167) (1998)

The additional protocol supplements the original convention by providing rules applicable to the transfer of the execution of sentences in two different cases, namely where a sentenced person has fled the sentencing state to go to the state of his or her nationality, and where the sentenced person is subject to expulsion or deportation as a consequence of the sentence.
